Throughout my life, I have always been physically active. I was diagnosed with asthma as a young child, which naturally inhibited my performance. With this in mind, attaining physical goals has always been a challenge. The need for this kind of activity, as an adult, became essential in maintaining health and overall wellness.
With out it, I would frequently become ill with several trips to the emergency room. Fortunately, an amazing individual, who happened to be a personal trainer, came into my life realizing my potentials and needs. He constantly challenged me while introducing new activities and future goals. Before long, I engaged in local running races. I had always loathed the idea of running, but soon it became a part of my life and more importantly, I enjoyed it. Throughout this growth process, I realized the affect it made upon this person and how satisfying it was in his eyes to see my progress. My desire to convey this feeling to others in hopes of enhancing an individual’s way of life is, in essence, what made me become a trainer.

Read all the other reviews - they are all true and then some. Dana has helped transform me from dreading my occasional workouts into a budding fitness enthusiast. She's very conscience of each person's fitness goals and knows how to motivate and encourage en route to those goals. As others state, safety is certainly her greatest concern and she is full of modifications to work around any pains or other areas of concern. I've personally bought sessions with Dana as gifts for people that I care about - that it says it all.

I've been working out with Dana for about six months now. My goal was to strengthen my core to eliminate lower back pain and other aches and pains due to poor posture and lack of strength, and I've achieved that goal with Dana's help. What I especially appreciate is that each session, she has thoughtfully designed a workout specific to my needs, one that challenges me to work just a little bit harder than I would on my own, but that never pushes me to overdo it. Dana is quick to make modifications to any exercise to make sure it's pain free and safe. The lower back pain I had last year is gone. It's obvious that she truly cares about your health and your goals, and wants to help you live as healthy a life as you can. I would highly recommend her without reservation.

This lady rocks! She has a wealth of knowledge about both fitness and nutrition, and is always concerned about safety while pushing you to the max. She's very attentive and you'll never see her fiddling with her phone while you do your reps, like some other trainers. Prior to recent abdominal surgery, we upped our sessions and she got me into truly kick-ass shape, which I credit with exponentially hastening my recovery time.

Dana is an extraordinary trainer. I have been training with Dana for a few months now. I have several physical issues including bad knees and a bad back. Dana is sensitive to me issues and designs my workout to strengthen my muscles that support the weak areas and modify the exercises to make sure I do not injure myself. Dana cares about my progress and encourages me to eat right and drop lbs. She walks the fine line of being supportive and not pushy. I look forward to our workouts. Did I mention that she does a variety of workouts so you are never bored.
I highly recommend her to everyone!

Dana is passionate, caring and knowledgable. She's been my life saver. Her positive energy, infectious attitude and drive make her an A+++ trainer. You would be lucky to have her. She's been the only trainer that I've had that cares about the entire individual. She gives you 100% of herself and more. Whether you're struggling with energy, food, injury, self esteem she's there to help you figure it all out in a caring and motivational way. Dana has changed me for the better. Go ahead try a session, you won't be sorry and you might even think training is FUN! She rocks!!
