Courtney is so energetic and enthusiastic and injects that right into her nutrition and wellness coaching. I worked with her over the phone as I live in DC once a week and she gave me the right tools to lose weight and look fabulous for my wedding. She did this even though my lifestyle and work life have caused me to just continuously gain lbs. I've been discouraged with everything until I started working with her and seeing real results. Her coaching isn't just about losing weight or eating right, it's about living a better life that gives you more energy and awareness. I have always worked out pretty consistently and my eating habits have been healthy. But I have not been able to lose my extra weight. Then I started meeting with Courtney. She helped me raise my expectations for myself. My goal was to lose 20 pounds over a one year period. It's been almost 6 months, I have lost 15 pounds, and I feel healthier than I have in years. Courtney goes above and beyond, and I feel lucky to have her in my life.

My job requires extensive travel and eating out. In 2009, I started running to get in shape, but it wasn't helping with weight loss. I was intimidated by the gym and decided to try a personal trainer. Luckily, I met Courtney. I like that Courtney listens to my needs, is encouraging and motivating without yelling, takes the whole body into consideration, and tailors our sessions to what is happening with my body on a particular day. She's flexible in her training and caters to the individual and their goals. Courtney also helped me choose healthy eating options when I was required to eat out for work. Over the years, I've felt healthier, maintained a healthy weight, and have generally felt better physically and mentally. In addition, Courtney has helped me stay strong through 40 weeks of pregnancy. My family and friends are surprised that I'm still working out this late in my pregnancy, but I trust Courtney to only do exercises that are safe for me and my pregnant body. I've felt strong throughout and I believe working out with Courtney has contributed to my healthy pregnancy and, hopefully, to an easier labor and delivery. Basically, Courtney is able to work well with people in all stages of life who are motivated to be healthy.
