After three decades of working in public service, fitness became a full time career in 2012. Fitness has always been important in her life, but never more when she suffered a herniated disc in her neck. Following her doctor’s advice she began practicing Pilates in 2008 and discovered the best form of exercise that can benefit anyone. She has managed her neck injury with Pilates and feels compelled to share the Pilates Method of exercise with anyone willing to try.
She was certified in Mat and Reformer Pilates by The Arizona Pilates Academy in 2008 and instructed for the Academy until opening The Pilates Station in 2012. She is certified by the Pilates Method Alliance (PMA) accredited by the National Commission for Certifying Agencies (NCCA).
