I'm a fitness specialist who has coached and empowered people to improve their fitness ability to exercise safely and effectively. My passion, for over 30 years, is to help you become stronger and more confident to continue to do, or start, activities you love.

Equally important, if you have recurring muscle or joint pain, as a corrective exercise specialist, I can help you identify musculoskeletal imbalances that are either causing or contributing to your pain. My specialized knowledge of the musculoskeletal system and how posture and movement influence it allows me to design corrective exercise programs to help you reach your health, movement, and fitness goals.

I work with top-level athletes and regular amazing folks in the sports-oriented town of Sun Valley. I know the challenges most of us face when facing or rebounding from injuries, surgeries, are faced with chronic conditions, or nagging pain. My passion is to help you find a solution to keep moving forward.

My start into personal training began with an emphasis on low back injury prevention. Later, in 2004 I was struck with spondylolisthesis, a painful slipped disc in my lower back. I was living with chronic pain. After undergoing surgery to fix my back I continued focusing my continuing education on the lumbo-pelvic-hip complex, musculoskeletal imbalances, and how to manage and prevent back pain. One of my proudest accomplishments is that I am now globally recognized as a Corrective Exercise Specialist in The BioMechanics Method ( TBMM-CES ).

Since 2000 I have also studied yoga with world-renowned yoga teachers, so if you train with me, you will surely do some yoga. Why ? Because balance is huge for people over 40. So is the necessity of bringing together muscles and mind to move more efficiently, to relax when we need to relax, and to be powerful when power is needed. For example, have you ever noticed that a great skier’s upper body is always relaxed?

As a former junior ski racer, my greatest passion is skiing. I love to run, bike, practice yoga, and rock climb, taking me to the cliffs of the Greek Islands, Sardinia, Italy, Spain, Mexico and Thailand. Hiking with our Golden Retriever, Izzy, is also high on my list of things I love to do.

    I've been a client of Connie's for over 5 years. During this time, Connie has been instrumental in addressing multiple sports injuries by first seeking to understand the problem followed by a specific and pointed program. Connie is a true professional, well informed and gets success. She's the best.

    I have been working out with professional trainers for 25 years and consider myself an expert. Connie is by far the BEST. Her knowledge is vast. Her approach is total fitness—strength, flexibility, balance , cardio and nutrition. She has identified weakness in my knees that cause me to be knock kneed due to muscle weakness. She addresses this through body alignment, focus and specific strength exercises. As a result, I am skiing better than I ever have.
    One of the issues I have had with trainers is boredom. Connie’s workouts are different every session and time flies.
    I wish I had found her many years ago.

    Connie Aronson created a work out program for me that I can use traveling and when I am home — just what I was looking for.     Connie is an absolute DELIGHT to work with. She has an incredible amount of knowledge and a talent for conveying body awareness cues that create a lasting effect. I came to her asking for a program to increase my base fitness for rock climbing, and gained a much greater sense of proprioception as well as a solid set of maintenance exercises. I can' t recommend her enough!
