I was born and raised in Southern California. A lifelong athlete, I received my bachelor's degree from the California State University at Fullerton, and my masters in business administration from St. John's University in New York. While at Cal State Fullerton, I (formerly Allison Anderson) captained the women's volleyball team. After graduation I made exercise a significant part of my life taking part in volleyball and soccer leagues, yoga classes, weight training and running.
Motherhood brought on a new fitness perspective for me. Finding time, energy, and logistical support for my active lifestyle became a greater challenge. Joining Stroller Strides after the birth of my second baby alleviated the guilt and anxiety of a regular workout routine as a mommy, and provided instant friendships with like-minded women in my area. Those friendships grew into lifelong bonds and the workouts continually challenged and motivated me to be a healthy, fit role model for my children. Just a few short months after joining the Stroller Strides program in North Orange County, I became a certified Stroller Strides Instructor specializing in pre- and post-natal exercise. A year later I purchased her local Stroller Strides franchise.
Currently I teach Stroller Strides and Body Back classes in the North Orange County area and plan special events for moms who are looking to get fit and healthy.

I joined when my 1st son was 3 months old & haven't looked back. This is the best exercise program for a mom! The kids come and make friends with all the other kids. You us moms get to have adult time while the kids play! That and you get to work out! I hate working out but this class is fun and beneficial. Ali is a great instructor. Her whole team is. I can't say enough about their motivation and knowledge.

My family has been a part of Stroller Strides for almost 4 years now. I joined after my daughter turned 1. It was the best thing for me physically and emotionally. After I finished my hour long workout, (complete with songs for the kiddos) I felt great. There's nothing like getting your day started off with a kick-butt workout!
As moms, we are all there for the same reason--to better ourselves, be a positive role model for our children and to chat it up with other mamas! If you are looking to do the same, come and check us out!

As a working mom, I struggled with finding time to workout. I couldn't justify leaving my son in the evenings (after I had already been away from him all day) so I could go workout. I am so thankful that I found stroller strides! It has been the perfect answer to finding a good balance between taking care of myself and spending time with my son. My son and I both look forward to stroller strides, and I have felt motivated to be healthier than ever.

Stroller Strides is a great workout with great people. I teach but I am able to go to workouts on Holidays, during the summer and on Saturdays. I don't have to miss out on precious time with my kids and go to the gym. I recommend this to every mom I come across who likes to stay active.

After my son was born, I struggled to get the weight off and couldn't find time to get to the gym. Stroller Strides gave me the outlet I needed to get in an exercise routine and find friends for my kiddo and me. The best part is that Allison and the other instructors are able to help me modify my workout for my pregnancy...and it still kicks my booty! Thanks, Allison!
