I am a personal trainer and strength and conditioning specialist in Kansas City Missouri with 11 years of experience. I am also the owner of Performance Edge - a functional training facility that offers CrossFit, Bootcamp, private group training, and personal training in Liberty, MO.
My mission is to help people find their passion for fitness and achieve their full potential. When we enjoy what we do we are inspired towards hard work, not repelled by it. Big changes follow that formula.

I have been working with Clay for 3 years. He has helped educate me in nutrition and fitness and provided my invauable tools to hold myself accountable. I have achieved great health benefits from working with Clay. Every session we have is demanding yet enjoyable. I have been working with Clay for a year and it's been a terrific experience. Clay has encouraged me when I'm struggling, celebrated success with me, and we've laughed all the way. He's made working out at 6:15 in the morning everything I would never have thought it could be. Clay inspires me to keep at it, even when it would be so much easier to throw in the towel. When I think where I was when I started this and where I am now, though I've certainly worked hard at it - I would never have made it without him. I would recommend Clay to anyone looking for an intelligent and knowledgeable trainer.

Clay is an amazing trainer. I lost 130 pounds in about 13 months when I started working with him. Not only did he help me with fitness, but also helped me with nutrition. Since the weight loss, I have continued to work with Clay; he keeps me motivated in the gym, keeps me from getting bored with my work outs, encourages me and keeps me moving forward with weight goals and fitness goals. Last year I completed my first triathlon, something I would never have thought I could do before meeting Clay.

I never could have lost this weight (and counting) without Clay's help. I have so many questions about nutrition and he always knows the answers. Just when I have officially decided to give up, he helps me renew my determination. I have been getting stronger and braver; at each session he gives me new exercises that are challenging without being too difficult. And even when I know I look like a total clodhopper, he never even laughs one little bit!
