I began playing organized sports when I was 8 years old and health and fitness quickly became part of my life. I turned my passion into my profession and am consistently inspired by those who choose to make healthy living a part of their lives. Through a combination of nutrition, exercise, stress reduction and mindfulness, I support my clients through their journey toward better health and a better life.
I enjoy hiking, biking, paddleboarding, yoga and almost any activity that takes place outside. Creating nutritious, delicious recipes is one of my favorite ways to destress - I focus on the ingredients, the flavors, the aromas, and the process and in the end, I get to savor a healthy, flavorful meal (and, if it's not so good, a bit of hot sauce can always make it more palatable!).
I am far from perfect and face my own challenges, but I celebrate each day and find joy in being able to physically engage in activities that are fun, sometimes challenging, but always a part of who I am.
My philosophy is based on my belief that we do not have much control over how long we will live, but we can choose HOW we will live each day. I remind my clients - Better Health, Better Life, Better You!
