Christopher Poirier

Christopher Poirier has studied martial arts since 1978 and has been a certified instructor (Sensei) for over 30 years. His highest ranks include 5th-degree black-belts in both Okinawan Karate and Jujutsu. He is a retired U.S. Army officer and has taught military and law enforcement personnel hand-to-hand combatives and defensive tactics throughout his career. Sensei Poirier has also developed and facilitated a variety of customized self-defense programs specifically designed for women, college students, teens, business professionals and other martial arts instructors. He is an active member of the international martial arts organization Midori Yama Budokai of Leavenworth, Kansas.
