I love personal training because I feel that I am able to help motivated people make meaningful lifestyle changes. In the past two years since I've become certified I have conducted my own bootcamp classes, helped people rehab from injuries and acquire strength they didn't know they had. I have background in kettlebells,TRX suspension training,yoga and other modalities like sandbags and bodyweight exercise. I am a runner who has trained for triathlon,duathlon and a half marathon. I am able to assess posture and movement in order to help people train smart and efficiently.

    I worked with Charlene for a few months and found her wonderful to work with. She is truly educated and enjoys sharing her knowledge about nutrition and exercise. She works hard to find a way that works best for you to begin making the small changes. In fact, that is the thing she stresses, it is all those small changes that matter. She has shown me all about tracking meals and not beating myself up for going over the calories, just track and be aware of what you are eating. She has emailed me interesting articles that she found after I had expressed interest in a topic we were talking about. She has worked with me on simple exercises I could do on my own as well as telling me about the ones I could do at work or while watching TV. Charlene has a great sense of humor and we have shared many laughs. I highly recommend you make contact with Charlene and see if she will be a good fit for you.

    I have been working with Charlene for the majority of a year with the intention of improving my overall health. In that time, Charlene had made suggestions for me to follow up with my primary care doctor on two minor issues she noticed. Upon seeing my PCP, I was diagnosed with two conditions that no one other than Charlene really picked up on. Her attention to detail is amazing. She has worked to help with me correcting unhelpful habits I have developed from old injuries. She has helped me immensely to improve my overall physical health and my emotional well-being by helping me create goals that are individualized and keeping me motivated. She is truly empowering and I would highly recommend Charlene for anyone who looking to not just lose weight, but to be healthier overall.

    I have been personally trained by Charlene as well as taken her boot camp classes. She is very in-tune with her clients, knowing where their comfort zone is and pushing them just a bit beyond. She empowers her clients to take charge of their fitness goals moving them beyond just a weight or size goal. The boot camp was always challenging yet fun and doable. I would definitely recommend Charlene for anyone who needs the support of a Personal Fitness Trainer but doesn't want to be coddled. You *will* reach your goals with Charlene!
