Charity Benevelli-Zaczek

I had been a runner beginning at the age of 9 years old. After having my son, I had gained over 70lbs. I could not believe that this had happened to me. After hard work and a lot of sweat, I was able to take the weight off and begin right where I left off. Getting caught up with life (working full time, full time student, full time mom among other activities), I had once again packed on the weight and became 35 lbs overweight. Looking in the mirror at myself, I cried and could not believe that once again I had let this happen to me and I didn't have a pregnancy to blame this time. I took a stand! I began working out, eating properly and I became more fit then I had EVER been (yes even as a runner). I then made the promise that this would NEVER happen again. Changing my lifestyle was KEY. Hearing many stories similar to mine, I knew it was time to get out there and help others. I started coaching first and after seeing the successes, I knew that I was making a difference! This was my calling. I am here to help end the trend of obesity, to help others get their self confidence back, show how to live a healthy lifestyle and give everyone the tools that they need to get them where they want and or need to be!

About a year ago I decided that I needed to make a change I was not fit did not do much physical activity and overweight. I looked for some where I would be comfortable, I needed someone to work with me one on one and I didn't want to spend time in the gym having others look and judge me... I found a personal training facility which was just what I was looking for – small and personal where members are not just numbers. I started training twice a week, after about two weeks I had to switch trainers … some clients would have been upset and even angry enough to quit but I had the fortunate pleasure of being paired up with Charity. She took time to understand my goals, evaluate my fitness level, and determine to what point I could be pushed. She is awesome at what she does; she pushes enough to have me doing things I never thought possible and just when I think this is all I've got to give she encourages me to push just a bit harder and challenge myself. I like to say that she is not only my trainer but my inspiration, mentor, coach and friend! Keep doing what you love … I believe you can make anything you put your mind to happen.

Charity isnt only my big sister, but shes been my inspiration and my rock through my journey. I was troubled with my weight since high school. But since she has been so big on health, she cares not only for herself buf others as well. She has inspired me to keep pushing & that being healthy helps you through the day. So as she continue to influence others, i say she is a great teacher..:) you wouldnt be disappointed. :)

Charity has been a huge inspiration to me with health and wellness. She has shown me how to implement it into my daily routine so it can become a part of me. I have had the privilege to witness her interaction with clients, friends and others and actually get to see how they just gravitate towards her the way I did and still do. I look up to Charity as a role model to so many as a life coach and a personal trainer. I've personally asked her many times to kick my butt when she holds her 11fitness boot camps and she exceeds that request every time. She knows how to get me to my point of failure without overdoing it. She's knows exactly what she's doing. Charity is a great motivator and educator as well. For example, I'm not much of a runner and never really took to it but after working with Charity, she has shown me that it can be fun. I've ran many times with her and even though she can run circles around me, she always made sure she didn't leave me behind. She would show me little tricks so that I wouldn't exert so much energy and now I find myself asking her to go on a run with me. I love it. My life has taken a completely different turn recently for the better and Charity has played a huge roll with it. I now have a goal of working with this Childhood Obesity/Obesity epidemic in our country. I'm going back to school for health and nutrition and I've also been able to reach out to others and help them. It's been a wild ride and still going. Being able to see the change in peoples overall way of life by simply allowing Charity to show them way, is amazing and so uplifting. She has allowed me to take charge of my life the way I should and I know she'd do that for anyone else that is ready to make that change. For this, I thank you Charity!:) XOXO
