I can’t say enough about Carol as a trainer and her extensive knowledge. Her ability to bring variety into each class – allowing me to actually “enjoy” the workout is unmatched. She not only is an amazing trainer, but she brings her vast knowledge of health to each class and, as we work each muscle group to explain and have us focus on exactly what part of the body we are working so our mind body connection strengthens as well. It is clear from her direction that we have learned that weight training is vital for one’s overall health.
Her DVD is excellent for those who are recovering from cancer as well as those of us who want/need to get into shape. Carol demonstrates in detail all the exercises and her manner is extremely informative. The DVD clearly shows everyone that these exercises can be done at home (or on the road) with very simple equipment. She is an awesome trainer and this DVD brings her training talent and knowledge to everyone – not just those of us who are privileged to able to work with her personally. “The Recovery Fitness program is endorsed by the top physicians in the field” - it is a great DVD that belongs in everyone’s fitness collection!

I've been taking Carol's classes for about two years. I hate to exercise, so for me to commit to a regular fitness program requires something special. Luckily, that's what Carol provides. I never leave her classes feeling exhausted or strained, but I always leave feeling like I've had a good well-balanced workout. Her commitment to her clients' health and well-being is obvious, and everything she has us do is tempered with good common sense. Her mantra is, "If it hurts, don't do it!" She keeps it interesting by mixing elements of yoga, pilates, and other equipment training, and her constant stream of friendly patter makes the time pass very quickly. I feel very lucky to have found such a knowledgeable, upbeat and goodhearted trainer.

After having a baby, I thought I'd never get my body back. With Carol's guidance and thoughtfully constructed workout routines, I am finally back in shape and feeling healthier than ever! Carol is encouraging, knowledgeable, and makes working out fun. I couldn't have done it without her and would strongly recommend her to anyone looking to get into shape!

Carol’s fitness classes are consistently good. She provides a variety of different exercises that work all the muscle groups, so the classes are never boring. She always balances out these exercises with stretching and flexibility work. I feel that I have become stronger and more flexible in the time that I am attending these classes.

I have been taking Carol's pilate classes for several years, first, through the local Adult School and now in her home studio. Her experience, preparedness and individualization of exercise are evident in every class. I have always been most impressed by her generosity and genuine interest in each of her client's well-being and progress.
