April was a lacrosse player in high school and a runner and avid yoga participant in college. When her first full-time job came along, however, her activity level dwindled. April spent 10 years sitting behind a desk and during that time she struggled with weight gain, fatigue, and lower back, shoulder, and neck pain. “What’s happening to me? I used to be fit!” She knew what she wanted to do. She committed to making fitness an integral part of her daily life again. And, as she explored and engaged with different aspects of fitness, her aches and pains dissipated and she felt strong and powerful again. She also found a new passion. No more sitting behind a desk! April decided to leave desk life behind and embark on a new career dedicated to health and fitness. On her path to earning her personal fitness trainer certification, she met Coach Mo. Now, as a part of the Coach Mo’s Elite Fitness team, she teaches people about how awesome the human body is and guides people through individualized fitness training programs designed to make the body feel and look fit, strong, and alive.
