I began working weekly with Andrew in January 2015 to focus on TRX and kettle ball introduction, use of body weight vs weights, different core exercises and lower extremity work, all maintaining the form and appropriate weight progression. I am a runner and suffered injuries in my right foot in January. Almost complete with my running recovery program, I am looking forward to slowly increasing the leg work intensity.

Andrew has provided me with "MANY" different exercises that are interchangeable during any workout session. I have enough to last me for more than a year without getting bored or feeling like I am repeating myself.

Overall, Andrew is a passionate personal trainer and his attention to detail is outstanding. He concentrates on you as the client, ensures your form and positioning are correct and encourages you to have optimal (and fun) sessions with positive results.

I highly recommend and will continue to train with him within the upcoming weeks and during summer marathon training.

    Thanks again Andrew -

I began training with Andrew in 2012. At the time my job was consuming most of my free time and my heath, sleep and stress level had become effected. I was exhausted and didn't have the energy to even think about exercise. Being someone that was always considered to be in shape, this was something that truly bothered me.

From day one, Andrew was understanding of my situation and helped me to see that with time I would be able to get back to my former, stronger self. Andrew worked with me to begin to build my strength and focus on getting back on track. Because of Andrew's skill set, personality and commitment to his clients, I have been able to become a better version of my former self. I would highly recommend Andrew to anyone looking to get back into shape, increase or maintain strength. Thank you Andrew!

I am a fitness instructor at the gym where Andrew trains. We became friendly through that process while I was contemplating signing up to run my 3rd half marathon. I'd run one half in 2011 and another in 2012 but wasn't able to sign up in 2013 due to improper training for the 2012 race which caused a back injury. I stepped up my game on core training and scaled back on running, but not running the race in 2013 left a big void in my personal goals. I determined to sign up for the 2014 half and reviewed training programs I could follow, but felt frustrated there were none that accounted for working fitness professionals where the demands are more intense on the body. I presented this to Andrew as a friend and he agreed to develop a plan considering my goals of remaining injury free, remaining physically capable of teaching my classes at full strength and reaching a time goal of 1:50. I finished the race in 1:48 and felt awesome! I also learned the race I ran offers a series of three races with a finisher medal. I worked with Andrew to determine a sensible goal I could accomplish while still teaching 10+ classes per week: one faster race, one longer race, more races at the same speed. I determined I'd enjoy the three races at the same speed and Andrew provided a strength training plan I could use to stay in running shape during what I feared would be a long, cold, snowy and icy winter. He had me doing so many fun things I'd never have considered in the weight training room and on the rowing machine and I felt so excited and motivated like never before. During this entire time working with Andrew I got more excited about pursuing personal training as an objective and studied for but did not pass one certification. The process of working on my personal strength and having a coach who pushed me but kept my ego in check was so helpful it gave me just enough confidence to try and get certified as a trainer again. Now I am just five weeks away from the first of three races and three weeks shy of taking the personal training test again. I am confident and strong and feel so happy with this entire experience. I would highly recommend Andrew's abilities as a motivator and coach. He really listened to what I needed and provided me with tools to feel good about myself with goals that reached way beyond what I wanted to push my body to do.

I'm one of those people who start a new exercise plan very excited and lose enthusiasm after a few weeks. I started looking for a trainer because I needed help to create an effective workout and because I was throwing my back out several times per year and the doctor kept telling me to work on my core.

When I started working with Andrew, my goal was to start a routine that I would continue. After one year, working with Andrew has truly become a routine. He doesn't just support you at a session, he shares his knowledge and motivation throughout the week. He helps you connect how your mind and body work together and how lack of sleep, stress, and diet correlate to how you feel. At the same time, Andrew is not a trainer who makes you feel bad to motivate you, he truly is your biggest supporter as you work to feel healthier.

I continue to work with Andrew and I highly recommend him.

I started training with Andrew in January 2012 and this past year has transformed my life in more ways than one. Andrew has introduced me to a new and exciting fitness routine. He has worked with me on setting specific fitness goals and has been there the whole time encouraging me.
Andrew is also extremely knowledgeable in the area of nutrition and has advised me on healthier eating habits. As a type II diabetic, eating healthier has helped me gain control of my sugar levels; I have even been able to lower the amount of medication I take. With the help of his nutrition advice I have lost a total of 55 pounds and I have never as healthy as I do now.
As a result of training with Andrew I am performing better, lifting heavier weights than I ever imagined, running faster and I am well on my way to accomplishing pull ups - all thanks to Andrew!
Our workouts are always challenging and he constantly pushes me a little harder. I look forward to my session with Andrew each week and enjoying many more workouts as I continue to reach more fitness goals.
I recommend Andrew to anyone who wants to develop a solid workout and nutrition program with the assistance of a positive, personable and well qualified trainer.
