I have been a personal trainer for 26 years and am the PFP/Club Industry Personal Trainer of the Year for 2018/2019. I am a 35 year cancer survivor and have dedicated my career to helping cancer survivors and patients recover from the debilitating side-effects of surgery and treatment. I am the co-author of "Essential Exercises for Breast Cancer Survivors" and author of the 1st - 11th editions of the "Cancer Exercise Specialist Handbook," 1st & 2nd editions "Breast Cancer Recovery BOSU(R) Specialist""Essential Exercises for Breast Cancer Survivors," and "Breast Cancer Recovery with the BOSU(R) Balance Trainer." I am the president and founder of The Cancer Exercise Training Institute. I travel around the country teaching a 2-day continuing educataion workshop - The Cancer Exercise Specialist Advanced Qualification - for health and fitness professionals wanting to work with cancer patients in all stage of treatment and recovery. I have trained thousands of people in 20 different countries. When I am home I work individually with clients in my home-based studio. While my specialty is working with cancer patients, I love to work with all different populations, young and old, in helping them to reach their health & fitness goals. I am also available for online training and public speaking engagements.
