I am a graduate of Miami University Oxford, OH. I have been teaching group fitness since my Junior year of High School. The industry is forever changing and improving and I truly love being a part of it. I taught water aerobics in the mid 1990's. At Miami University, the trend was pulling more toward Step and Fat Burning classes and I trained as well as taught many cardio and step classes. After graduation, I started focusing on Personal Training. This allowed me to see individual benefits as well as learn about personal struggles with exercise. Struggles with food, depression, lack of energy and insecurities were some of the problems that clients faced when trying to begin a new fitness routine. Using my knowledge from personal training, I got re-certified in Group Fitness so I could help more people succeed with weight loss and muscle gain. I quickly learned that intervals, circuits, and core work were the keys to success. I have since studied and been certified in Pilates and Yoga.
