Fitness is my passion. My first career was as the 1st female on a York Co. (PA) police force. Next was motherhood. During that time, fitness became a focal point of my life. I trained to be a fitness instructor while expecting, and led my 1st class 3 months after my daughter was born. I continued my fitness career by becoming a certified national trainer for the YMCA of the USA. After 15 years with the local YMCA, eventually as the Physical Director, I finally started my own business.
My focus is on making people appreciate and learn to use their bodies for a full, healthy, and active life. I take joy in challenging my clients, and empowering them to overcome those challenges. I always use positive encouragement, meeting every client where he or she is before moving to the next step. It doesn't matter where your starting point is, as long as we move forward together.

I met Amy as I was getting ready to go out to the Biggest Loser Resort in Malibu, Califorina three years ago. She offered to continue the physical training I was going to have with Biggest Loser when I got home. She gave me a card and everything to contact her. When I came home, I tried to do the exercises on my own and after three months, dug her card out of my wallet and called her. She has been what those who watch Biggest Loser would call the cross between Jillian and Bob...so I have the best of both worlds. She has worked not only to help me with losing weight and toning, but also with the emotional baggage that you can carry when you are heavy and trying to lose weight. She has tailored more routines for me than I ever thought possible. When I am extremely tired, she finds a way to work me so that I don't realize I am working just as hard as I would otherwise, When I have had a bad day, she lets me pound out my frustration by boxing, kicking or throwing a ball against a wall. She continues to help me achieve my fitness goals so that I can be the health person. I know she can do the same for you! She is located at Chaillet's Private Fitness. The gym is fantastic and everyone there is fun to be around. The owners and members are encouraging and you can tell they love how Amy conducts her sessions. There is always a lot of laughter along with the workout. Try a few sessions with her, she will help you change your life for the better! Contact her at 717-542-3171 you'll be glad you did!

I have also worked with Amy for several years. I pulled my hamstring and could not play tennis or golf. She has tailored my workouts to strengthen my lower back and my hamstring. The workouts are varied and never boring. My tennis game has gotten remarkably better due to working out with Amy. If you want to improve your health and lifestyle, visit Amy at Chaillet's Private Fitness 717-542-3171. Give her a call and change your life.

I've been working with Amy for many years. She has been tremendously beneficial in helping me achieve my fitness/health goals. She tailors a regiment that's specific to your needs. She mixes up the work-outs, so you're never bored with repetition like many other trainers can be.
She's also very affordable for a personal trainer. And the gym that she trains from is very nice, clean & versatile.
If you're serious about your health & fitness. And if you're ready to make a move forward w/your regiment; you need to visit Amy @ Chaillet's Private Fitness (above Laugerman's Harley Davidson). Try a few sessions with her, you won't be disappointed.
