I've always hoped that my legacy would be to inspire others to be the best versions of themselves and to find their authentic voice through embracing vulnerability. I have been teaching fitness for 20 years and have held many positions within Equinox Fitness including Group Fitness Development Manager, but my career as a social worker in NYC developed my passion for mentoring and providing opportunities for those without access to healthy options. I am a master trainer and lead a program that prepares people within underserved communities to teach fitness to reduce the inequities in a system that is rooted in social and ethnic injustices. While 'i could tell you all about my role as a fitness star and work in fitness production, the thing that has inspired me the most is my own journey with a rare chronic debilitating illness called Trigeminal Neuralgia. This journey has afforded me an opportunity to be a public educator on chronic pain, a health advocate for a rare and chronic illnesses, and I enjoy participating in any discussions that involve the intersection of wellness. My life mantra: "Love the life you live, live the life you love."
