I am a certified as a Personal Fitness Trainer through the International Sports Sciences Association (ISSA). I am also certified as a Weight Loss Specialist through the National Academy of Sports Medicine (NASM), and Metabolic Training Certified through the Fitness Consulting Group. I hold an MBA with a concentration in Project Management, and a Bachelor’s Degree in Government. My healthy living journey started after the birth of my 3rd child, 5 years ago. I found myself feeling insecure about my weight and how my clothes were fitting. I’d experienced many bouts with depression, and was starting to feel the negative effects of my body fat, which had reached 46%. I took it upon myself to learn the secrets and theories of physical training, lowering my body fat to 26% and losing 4 dress sizes. It was after noticing the joy I felt speaking about fitness and healthy living that I began to pursue certification. This year, I left my "day job" to pursue a full-time fitness passion! Now I'm ready to help YOU with your journey with my "No Excuses" programming.

    Was very impressed with the professionalism of Aly Taylor-Ruiz's fitness assessment and preventive advise. She took time to explain everything in detail and her concern for my health was admirable. I have a slipped disc in my lower back and its my midsection which I am tirying to lose. I have just started my work out routines, have learned alot about using the right equipment, and proper posture when exercising from the demonstrations taught to me by Aly. I'm 5'4 at 200 lbs right now. Progress reports to follow, hit you back up in two months. LOL
