“And though she be but little, she is fierce.” Meet Allegra Poggio who discovered Fuse Pilates as an activity to complement running and other outdoor adventures like hiking, sailing and swimming. She found that Fuse helped to balance her physical and emotional being by strengthening and toning muscles while also focusing and calming the mind. Through her Pilates and Barre practice, she learned the power and value of understanding one’s own body to achieve personal and emotional goals. With an undergraduate degree in Psychology and a graduate degree in Communications, she is passionate about the emotional connection to physical exercise and working with people to achieve personal and fitness goals.
Her teaching style is challenging, disciplined and calm. In her classes you’ll find detailed cues, energetic music and a combination of difficult exercises to help you discover muscles that you have never felt before. She offers challenging classes that energize the body. She aspires to become trained in Reformer Pilates to further her practice and bring her teaching to communities in need.
