I have been a certified personal trainer and nutritionist since 2008. Exercise and healthy living have been a passion of mine since I can remember: from participating in gymnastics and soccer as a child, working out to Jane Fonda videos in the '80's, to being an avid hiker today. I've always had a love for movement and exercise. Challenging myself and stepping out of my comfort zone are important to me. I completed my first obstacle race in 2012 and enjoyed it, so I trained and conquered two more in 2013 and have been doing them ever since. I enjoy helping people reach their goals and live healthier lifestyles. I love the challenge of working with people who have different goals and limitations, and helping them transform their minds and bodies to become stronger, more flexible, eat well, manage stress and lead healthier lives. There is no better feeling for me than to have clients tell me they've broken habits that were holding them back, feel better about themselves, etc. It's very rewarding to be a part of that!
For those of us on a path to better health it can be hard to do it alone.

Alicia Rubio has been my Fitness Trainer for a couple of years. During this time, she has worked with me 1:1 to ensure that the goals we have set have been realized and we continue to make and work on additional goals. Alicia is a very dedicated trainer who always is there to counsel me on my foods, work out a nutrition plan, to ensure I am getting my cardio in, and to kick me in the pants if and when it is needed to get me back on track.
She cares about me as a person -- my needs, my body makeup, and strives to put together a workout workout program and nutrition regiment that is designed especially for me and my goals. She has become a very integral part of my daily life and truly I would be lost without her proddings, her high fives, and her routines.

Alicia has been my trainer for over two years. She's a great motivator (I wouldn't have done this if it wasn't for her!!). She's very knowledgeable about fitness, nutrition, and a healthy lifestyle. She's the best trainer ever!

I have trained with Alicia for about two years now and she has been diligent in her personal training with me. She has worked my core, building muscles and stamina. She has taught me the importance of eating healthy and getting exercise. She cares about her clients and will work personally with them to ensure they make correct eating habits and exercise goals. I give her two thumbs WAY up!
