Aleksander started his journey as most trainers do – a young boy playing a sport who had a dream. His desire to play began with basketball later evolving to volleyball. After high-school, Aleksander earned the opportunity to play volleyball for Camosun College Chargers where he was an integral part of two provincial gold medal wins and a national bronze medal win. From there he went on to play for the Thompson Rivers University Wolfpack where he completed his volleyball career as well as earning his Bachelor of Arts degree.
Volleyball left Aleksander with a desire for fitness and performance which led him to pursue Certified Personal Training Qualifications through the American Council on Exercise (ACE). Additionally, he obtained his certification from Functional Movement Systems (FMS) as a Movement Specialist Level 1 and 2.
There is no one solution to fitness. Instead, fitness is multi-faceted. As a result, Aleksander created Osiris Fitness to adapt to your individual needs by following a model of fitness that progresses through four key stages: Stability, Mobility, Strength, and Performance.
