Fitness has been my life and passion for over ten years. I apply sound principles of weight loss and strength training based on the latest research and scientific evidence, not fad diets and trendy weight loss techniques that won't work long-term. As a trained physical therapist I am also uniquely qualified to handle any injuries/aches/pains that may arise during the course of my training while still delivering an effective session. I am also able to make sure that the exercises we perform remain functional and address any orthopedic conditions you may have while still working towards your goals. I specialize in training clients of all ages and fitness levels. Everyone from high-level high school and collegiate athletes looking to gain the edge in competition to seniors looking to maintain peak fitness in their golden years can benefit from the knowledge and skills I have attained through the course of my career.

After about a year of limited exercise, I really needed to get motivated and by sheer luck I ran into Aaron Morales at Snap Fitness in Niantic. I had joined for the summer and planned to work out with my daughter while she was home from college. After meeting with him for two free trial sessions, I could see that he had the experience, skills and knowledge necessary to be a great trainer. I decided to give it a try for six more sessions and I am extremely glad that I chose Aaron.

Each time I worked with Aaron he would always demonstrate the exercises and explain the correct form. He was very patient with me; often showing me more than once when needed. I have taken many group classes in the past, but it was so nice to have this one to one explanation, correction if needed, and always positive reinforcement during and at the end of a set. I have never worked so hard physically, especially since I had never had someone right there pushing me along. You really cannot hide! Yet Aaron had a really positive way about him that made me want to work harder, even surprising myself at what I was able to do. My daughters got a kick out of seeing my face completely red when I came home. Aaron was easy to get along with and made it fun even though I thought I would literally collapse doing mountain climbers.

I also really appreciated Aaron's expertise and concern with my recent back injury and past knee problems. I had completed some physical therapy before joining Snap Fitness and he was able to offer suggestions for stretches and exercises that would be beneficial for me. This was one of the reasons I chose to work with him in the first place. His background in physical therapy sets him apart from most other personal trainers and is so very helpful! I appreciated the handouts he gave me as well.

Aaron also assists with Nutrition counseling. I was reluctant at first to keep track of my foods but was glad to learn I needed to eat more protein. (and less carbs which I kind of knew :) ) He was not judgmental in any way, but rather gave suggestions as to how to make my diet more balanced. I am still working on this part at home, but his information and the app he showed me on my phone is very useful.

I had hoped to get my motivation for exercising back again, to get toned, and to feel better overall. I can honestly say that with Aaron's help, I made more positive progress towards achieving my goals than I could've imagined. Thank you, Aaron!!

I had contacted Aaron several times in the past hoping to get an appointment with him, but with no success. My persistence paid off however when he began accepting new clients and I couldn't be happier with the results so far. In just a few weeks of working together I am down 10 pounds, a pant size, and feel better than I have in a LONG time.

The benefits of working with Aaron have gone beyond just the training portion. He is a constant source of information as he regularly sends me articles and handouts on nutrition. He promote not just following a program he sets up but also me learning this information so that I can make better choices when he isn't around. He is also a motivator. I was discouraged after our first sessions because I felt like I did terrible, but he talked me up, made me feel better, and now I am much better at my exercises, just like he said I would be.

I have worked with "trainers" in the past, but their level of knowledge in no way compares to what Aaron has taught me. Due to his background in physical therapy he was also able to help me alleviate my low back pain, which I have had for YEARS, with just some simple stretching and exercise....I COULDN'T BELIEVE IT!

I am so glad I decided to put my health first and invest my time and money in Aaron. I recommend him to anyone that will listen and will continue to do so. If you need a trainer, YOU NEED HIM!

I don't know why it took me this long to write you a review, this is long overdue, but its better late than never :)
Aaron Morales was my personal trainer for a month in a half, I wanted to lose weight but I truly had no motivation to exercise, matter a fact I hated it. When I started working out with him, it was obvious that i was very out of shape. From the day we started I always gave him all I had, you truly have no choice, he was there to push me to do and give my best in each session. we meet twice a week and 3 other days I would work out on my own. Aaron is def. the best personal trainer you can have. Very professional and knows what hes doing. Young and handsome too, I have to admit that his fine looking self was somewhat a inspiration itself. I lost over 15 pounds in less than two months by working hard . With his help I am almost at my goal weight. I feel so much better, mentally and physically. The is def. a big difference between being fat and being fit .----> "Mind over matter".

If u need a personal trainer/someone to push you , hes the man !! I highly recommend him !

I met Aaron when I had to go to physical therapy because I was experiencing drop foot symptoms. Aaron was doing an ortho rotation at the clinic and was part of the team that helped determine I was having the problem because of a compressed nerve at the knee.

As I worked with Aaron over the next few weeks we talked a lot about fitness, exercise, weight loss, eating right etc. I explained to Aaron that I had weight loss surgery and had lost roughly 110 lbs but just needed to "tone up". He said he could help but to be honest I did not think I could afford a personal trainer and I hate (did I say hate?!) yes hate EXERCISE!!! I had been walking but really not much of anything else to burn calories and get in shape. Aaron was so positive and encouraging and I was in the right place in my life to listen and take advantage of his expertise.

I think Aaron was sent to me from a higher power! He taught me so much about the value of exercise and it being about your overall physical and mental health. That just an hour a couple times a week could and did change my entire world. I am more fit, have more energy, am clearer thinking, more confident at work and in my personal life. I was a size 10 and with just exercise and little dietary changes I dropped down to a size 8 in just a couple of months! My body looked 15 years younger and my confidence showed through!

Aaron is professional, intelligent, caring and quite simply a wonderful trainer. He came to my house with everything he needed but was also able to incorporate some of the equipment I already have to make it fun. There were times when I was exercising with a bouncing weighted medicine ball that I felt like a little kid on the playground!

I worked out with Aaron for about 7 months, unfortunately for me life got in the way and I am not currently working with him but if and when I can again I will be certain to call on Aaron.

Aaron Morales, this is long overdue man. I am sorry that it took this long to write this review. Life.. life happens and you forget those who were there for you when you needed them the most.

Aaron Morales is that person who came to my aid when I needed him most. For years physical therapist and doctors have insisted that I needed to begin stretching both my upper and lower body otherwise my body may get to the point of "no return;" and to the point where I can sustain injuries just by walking. Well, it got to that point, and when I started to get injured, it happened in successions. I was so tight and my injuries were occurring so frequently, I felt like a prisoner in my own body. Maybe some of you can understand what I mean by that, but if you don't, it feels terrible. You never feel relaxed, you are always in pain; you become very timid so you don't continue to hurt yourself. In essence, you lose your the quality of your life.

I reviewed IDEA's website to find the most certified, accomplished, knowledgeable personal trainer I could find in my area. There is where I located Aaron Morales. "On paper," Aaron Morales was more than qualified, but meeting him personally was the key. You need chemistry with your trainer, you need to trust that he/she is not going to rush you through the half hour or hour session but that they are there only for you, and have only your best interest in mind during the time that you spend together.

Aaron Morales was compassionate, told me stories about other people who were in similar situations like myself, but never revealed the people's specific names. He is very professional and I really felt that when I spoke to him he listened to me. And that everything I said to him was confidential.

Aaron Morales came to my condo complex where we worked out in the gym, but he had all the tools to come into my condo if I asked him too, however, I had a roommate and did not want my roommate to know that I was training. It was silly, but my point is that Aaron Morales is very flexible and places your convenience as one of his top priorities.

Aaron Morales was technically sound and had his opinion on why I was experiencing the pain and discomfort I was feeling and provided me with leads on the possible causes. He explained that he was not a doctor but has studied in extent all of the muscles in the human body and has done extended work on the spine. This was clear by his credentials but to hear it explained to me in a comfortable environment in person from someone who radiates sincerity and class made the messages ring out louder and clearer than had it come from someone else.

Aaron Morales was gentle when placing me in the correct positions to prepare me to be stretched, yet he was insistent that my muscles had to be stretched past my comfort zone limits in order for them to feel better the next day. He also explained that I had to constantly breathe in order for oxygen to enter my blood and muscles.

Because of Aaron Morales I am pain free and feel more free than I have ever felt in my entire life. He literally changed my life for the better and made the process as comfortable as possible. He is a professional, he is intelligent, and is a down to earth personal trainer who I feel more than deserves my highest recommendation. And I not only give him my highest recommendation because he deserves it, but to help someone out there who reads this blog and is unsure who they should call if they need a personal trainer who will listen to their concerns and find the best way to resolve their issues. To that person, I simply say, contact..

    Aaron Morales.
