Did you know that falling down is the #1 cause of emergency room visits for all adults, and the leading cause of trauma death for adults over 65?
Good balance is fundamental to all movement – from athletic performance to healthy aging. Good balance is the result of good communication between the brain and sensory inputs, as well as effective neuromuscular output. All of which is improved by regular practice, but the best gains are made when the plan is personalizedto the individual client.
The course takes you from the components of balance, through the relationship between balance and fall risk, and finally helps you design a comprehensive balance training plan, with appropriate progressions that you can personalize to any client.
Become a specialist in balance and learn how to help your clients be healthier and perform better.
