Mobility without stability equals hypermobility. Stability without mobility equals rigidity. So, how do we create a happy balance between the two, and where do we start? In this course, you’ll learn the various joints and muscles that are involved in achieving both stability and mobility, acquire simple assessment tools to determine which area to emphasize, and see how to create balance between the two. We will also investigate common muscular imbalances and medical conditions you may encounter, and determine which area of focus—stability or mobility—is the safest and most effective for each.
