Description

Making HRT easy to apply to all types of exercise!

This Heart Rate Training Specialist course was created for coaches, athletes and anyone who wants to have a better understanding of how the body responds and adapts to many types of exercise while utilizing a heart rate monitor to track and record exercise volume and intensity, both in real time and over duration.

For individual or group training, learn how physiological capacity or “exercise age” affects heart rate response, and learn how to perform the appropriate modifications.

Whether you are a seasoned pro or just starting your fitness career, this course will educate you on the physiological adaptations that occur in a diverse training program and will help any individual to bridge the gap between science and practical application, while building a more robust training regimen. Learn the most effective ways to accurately perform high intensity interval training for any type of exercise.

Learning Objectives

  • Understand how to appropriately apply specific heart rate max ranges to many types of exercise in order to control intensity while safely yielding the maximum benefit, including HIIT, endurance, strength, balance, coordination, power, speed and agility.
  • Gain knowledge about the physiological adaptations that occur in a consistent training regimen over time according to a variety of types of exercise. Physiological adaptations include cardiovascular, neuromuscular, muscular and biomechanical.
  • Learn about physiological capacity, “exercise age” and the most important exercise regimen variables and modifications to consider that will directly affect the control of exercise intensity and physiological adaptations made over time.
