Certification/Training Types

DescriptionDeveloped by Board Certified Professional Ergonomist, Danielle Barzoloski, MPT, CPE, this all new certification course helps learners identify and resolve the common risk factors in all manner of office environments. You’ll view a variety of case studies, from standard offices and cubicles, to non-standard environments like the automobile or hotel room, resolving the ergonomics risks. Application of these principles contributes to the reduction of ergonomics injuries, and increased productivity and employee satisfaction. You’ll also examine a wide range of ergonomics equipment useful in mitigating risk. You will also learn how to perform a detailed cost-benefit analysis, outlining the return on investment of effective ergonomics intervention. There are no prerequisites for taking this course. However, this is not an entry level course and it is assumed that you have taken CEAS I or have equivalent level experience or training.This advanced course (16 contact hours/1.6 CEU’s) was designed specifically for The Back School and provides an advanced ergonomics assessment methodology. Designed by a Certified Professional Ergonomist, the course will teach participants to recognize, analyze, and recommend cost-effective ergonomics changes to the workplace, machines, hand tools, and work methods. Participants will also understand what drives customers to request professional ergonomics services. This is not an introductory course. Prior ergonomics course completion (such as, but not limited to, our CEASI or CEAS II Certification Workshops) or experience in ergonomics assessments is recommended.
