She serves as chief medical correspondent for Discovery Health TV and is host of the National Body Challenge show. She is a New York Times best-selling author and a nationally recognized speaker on fitness and nutrition.

Christopher McGrath

Chris is the founder of Movement First, a New York City-based fitness education, consulting, and training business. Drawing on over 20 years of fitness experience, Chris specializes in a variety of training and coaching modalities, including, sports performance and injury prevention, post-rehabilitation and lifestyle/wellness coaching. While serving as Director of Education for one of the largest health club chains in the US, Chris designed and delivered education for fitness professionals at all skill levels. His passion for teaching and a desire to reach a broader audience with his experience and philosophy drove Chris to establish Movement First. Today, Chris teaches and consults for some of the most successful fitness organizations in the world, including the American Council on Exercise, Reebok, Functional Movement Systems (creators of the Functional Movement Screen), Fitness Anywhere (makers of the TRX), Star Trac, and numerous others. He also creates and teaches his own workshops for Movement First. In addition to being a first-class educator and trainer, Chris is a recognized international presenter. Chris has an MS in Exercise Physiology with a focus on Sports Performance and Injury Prevention, and a BS in Health Education along with numerous industry-recognized certifications.

Amy Myrdal Miller, MS, RDN

Amy Myrdal Miller, MS, RDN, FAND, is an award-winning dietitian, farmer’s daughter, public speaker, author, and president of Farmer’s Daughter® Consulting, Inc., an agriculture, food, and culinary communications firm. During her 20-year career, Amy has worked for Dole Food Company, the California Walnut Commission, and The Culinary Institute of America. Today Amy works with food companies, commodity boards, and seed companies to dispel myths and provide science-based information about our food system. Amy has been widely recognized for her nutrition leadership including receiving the Tufts University School of Nutrition Science and Policy Nutrition Impact award in 2014. Amy received her BS in dietetics from the University of California, Davis and her MS in nutrition communication from Tufts University School of Nutrition Science and Policy. A farmer’s daughter from North Dakota, today Amy and her husband Scott Miller live in Carmichael, California.

Mark Berman

Mark Berman, MD, FACLM, is an internal medicine physician and social entrepreneur whose work focuses on obesity, plant-based diets, and health information technology. Mark studied physical therapy at McGill University, medicine at Yale University, and primary care internal medicine and population medicine at Harvard’s Brigham and Women’s Hospital. He was a Doris Duke Clinical Research Fellow at UC San Francisco and later served as the special assistant to the CEO and president for Childhood Obesity at the Robert Wood Johnson Foundation. Mark is the past medical director of Keas Inc., an employee health-gaming software company, and the former VP of health for Mark One Lifestyle Inc., a consumer health device company. At present, Mark directs and practices lifestyle and obesity medicine at One Medical Group in San Francisco and is the head of health for FareWell, a lifestyle medicine digital health startup. He is also a director and fellow of the American College of Lifestyle Medicine.
