Exercise is Medicine On Campus
Exercise is Medicine on Campus is an initiative of the Exercise is Medicine (EIM) program that calls on universities and colleges to promote physical activity as a vital sign of health. EIM on Campus encourages faculty, staff and students to work together on improving the health and well-being of everyone on their campus. Connecting on-campus health care providers with on-campus fitness centers and opportunities allows the entire campus community to benefit from exercise counseling and referrals, with support from the institution's health care providers and fitness professionals. Students are given the tools they need to develop healthy habits that will last throughout their lifetime. EIM on Campus can be activated on any campus, large or small, rural or urban.
