No question Gwynn - Gary Gray and the team at the Gray Institute. By far, the best, most comprehensive, sensible approach to understanding human movement. Gary is often considered the father of function by many professionals and I hear his teachings often gift wrapped in the lessons or articles of other "guru's".
Beware though - you will not learn protocols or memorize silly "functional" exercises. You will learn how to think for yourself on a whole new level. Understanding chain reaction biomechanics, the principles, strategies, and techniques of Applied Functional Science, the 10 observational essentials of any motion, and how analyze, restore, and correct movement for life. There's so much more. The CAFS is their entry level cert which I recently completed, then they offer a fellowship program that spans about a year. I've also been to their Chain Reaction annual seminar twice now and both times, I was enlightened. Do it and you will not regret it!

Hi Gwynn,
I am also an ACE Certified Personal Trainer. In 2012, I became a Corrective Exercise Specialist with NASM. I was very pleased with the course. You receive a text book, an online version of the textbook, an online version where the text is read to you, videos teaching you how to perform movement assessments, videos of many exercises, and online practice exams after you complete each chapter. The knowledge I gained has had a great impact on my personal training business. I also believe that the course is offered at a lower price than the other courses you have explored. I highly recommend going with NASM.
