I would like to suggest you do a few things.... first look at the legal requirements for nutritional consultation in your state. From what I can see by a cursory examination your state seems to be relatively easy going, but it is important to check with the state..Here is some info on Colorado:

Second, you should contact your insurer and see what they will cover you for.
Third you should look through their training manuals.
If you plan to sell supplements or do meal plans keep in mind that whether or not one's state may say you may do these things that there is a reason why many states require a degree to practice as a nutritionist. Interactions with medications and medical conditions can be complex, and one never wants to go beyond not just legal scope of practice, but also one's own base of knowledge.
Good luck.

Hello Chauncenia Carroll,
Yes, Ariadne explains it well. I would look through the course texts and contact the educator for scope of practice. Getting the details through your state is a good idea, too.
Take care,

You need to find out if your state/country accepts or recognizes the licensure of the program. You might ask the people offering the program to verify this as well. If they can't direct you to the right information, they may not be legit.
