Hi Lori,
I also agree with Jonathan and Christine. TRX will always be around and it will be an essential training because of its versatility and it's easy to take it anywhere. It's very light weight, it takes not space and can be set up pretty much anywhere. I know many guys in the military who love it and they swear by it. For these reasons alone TRX is here to stay :-).

Hi Lori,
The TRX Suspension Trainer is here to stay forever because is the original, best-in-class workout system that leverages gravity and your bodyweight to perform hundreds of exercises. You're in control of how much you want to challenge yourself on each exercise - because you can simply adjust your body position to add or decrease resistance.
The TRX Suspension Trainer:
Delivers a fast, effective total-body workout
Helps build a rock-solid core
Increases muscular endurance
Benefits people of all fitness levels (pro athletes to seniors)
Can be set-up anywhere (gym, home, hotel or outside)
By utilizing your own bodyweight, the TRX Suspension Trainer provides greater performance and functionality than large exercise machines costing thousands of dollars.
I hope this info can hep you to answer you question.

If you mean Suspension Training in itself, then absolutely! It's functional, portable and applicable to many different levels of fitness. Even if the company that makes TRX Suspension Trainers somehow doesn't exist in the near or distant future, I believe there will always be a place for this kind of training tool.
Hi Lori,
I have been teaching TRX for a few years now and it has proven to be a useful format. I agree with Jonathan that it is functional and it applies to many different fitness levels, plus it's easy to set up. In addition, it's different, challenging, and fun.
I have seen great improvements in core strength in my clients and class participants with TRX--and I think it is here to stay.

Hi Lori,
I have been doing suspension training for many years, and it is an integral part of my training. Personally, I do not use the TRX but the OMGYM http://www.omgym.com/ which I find more flexible than the TRX. It does all of what the TRX does but a whole lot more.
Suspension training is definitely a keeper.

Like many of the others, I have been using TRX suspension training for several years as a primary component of training personally and for clients. It's versatile, easy to set-up and use , and provides a foundation for functional training. It can be used safely and effectively by virtually anyone... the key is proper instruction and exercise progression. I feel TRX suspension training has lasting power.
I believe that 'suspension training' will continue to be a method of training in the future. Because of it's versatility and mobility, I think that it will always have a place in most trainers' tool kits of equipment.
