Hi Tyler,
I know you don't want to hear this (I didn't either at 17!) but you have to be a little patient - you're young & Mother Nature probably isn't done with you yet as far as growing naturally. My advice is to slightly increase your calorie intake (200-250/day) - with those calories coming from quality protein sources. Also, if you don't already, you need to strength train. Talk to your coaches or to your Trainers at school & get them to hook you up with the right strength training program. Do that & let nature take its course Tyler - you should be good to go. Don't be tempted by trying the easy way (you know what I'm talking about!) - that never has a good ending. Hard work will get you where you want to go - good luck Tyler & keep us posted.

Tyler,
Sure sounds like you have some amazing goals to increase 10-20lbs of lean muscle.
I would reccomend you get yourself a personal trainer that is if you haven't yet done so.
All the best and good luck,

Tyler,
My question is why are you trying to gain the muscle? Going for a new position on the squad? And like Paul said give it TIME! Things that come quickly leave you just as quick... Check out Jim Wendler's 5/3/1 program works on the basic's Squat, Bench and Deadlift.
That which is measured improves. That which is measured and reported improves exponentially.. Translation track your sets/reps don't walking into the fitness center to "workout" go into train! You have your day already laid out no guessing what will be done of the day..
