Good question!
I don't teach pilates, but I do in-home personal training and in-home yoga (RYT-200) at clients' homes. I think I'm a little bit low, but I charge between $60 and $75 per hour.
As a price reference, the gym where I work, people pay $75 an hour to come to me. I charge about that because although it's more convenient for the client, I get paid 100% of what I make instead of the percentage that the gym makes. Some have told me I'm charging low, but there are other considerations that make it "worth it." I train clients who live within 1-2 miles of my home, so the commute time is negligible. Also, I only offer openings that are within 1/2 hour of the ending of another class, so I'm not splitting up my day into un-usable chunks. If I were being asked to teach at times that were inconvenient for me, the price would go up exponentially!

Hello Jessica Newshel,
I charge my personal training rate, which is low compared to others; but, I like to make training available to everyone. No matter where I train, they are still paying for my education and training.Traveling should up the price for my time and trouble; but, I do not charge travel fees anymore; instead, I have a travel area limit.
Take care,
Natalie aka NAPS 2 B Fit.

I would charge a bit more for traveling, this may be an incentive for clients to come to you.
I also live in CT. In home training isn't taxable, but any "studio" training should be (Just an FYI your home is a studio, not in home training). This may play into your price structure. For distances I have to travel I usually charge about .5 of my training rate for driving.
